Dal‑Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our team. The role involves servicing walk‑in customers, answering inquiries, providing samples and completing sales transactions.
Primary ObjectiveEnsure effective and efficient coordination between the company and its customers with a high level of service and support. Process sales orders and resolve customer product or service issues.
Major Function and Scope- Provide customer account management including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
- Key in orders, process faxes and prepare reports.
- Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
- Respond to customer needs.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
1 or more years of call‑center or customer‑service experience. Preference for customer account management experience and prior textile industry knowledge.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, good conversational and professional voice quality, ability to interpret and follow written instructions and policies, strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, strong interpersonal relationship skills, moderate computer skills in Word and Excel, attention to detail, ability to multi‑task, manage priorities and time, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires standing, using hands and arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and may involve sitting, climbing, balancing, talking or hearing. The associate must lift up to 15-30 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 70 lbs. Tile boxes or other materials longer than 36 inches or heavier than 70 lbs require a team lift. Vision requirements include close, peripheral and the ability to adjust focus.
