Part Time Trainer

Position Overview

The Part Time Certified Trainer delivers the GMCS, GMF, and NESSTA curriculum and performs related administrative work. The role is based in the Williston, VT office, reports to the Lead Trainer, and may require day, weekend, and evening availability.

• Effectively deliver the GMCS, GMF, and NESSTA curriculum.
• Work with the Licensing Coordinator to understand the process of obtaining training, licensing, etc.
• Communicate with the Lead Trainer on training, licensing, and other program status.
• Maintain active Trainer Certifications and appropriate licensing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must currently hold the rank of Supervisor within GMCS.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Must hold a valid Vermont security license.

• Ability to sit for a minimum of 4 hours.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
