• Generate design concepts, designs, detail, and assembly drawings
• Calculate appropriate dimensions and tolerances
• Ensure designs meet requirements for precision, stability, thermal control, and vibration performance
• Review and modify designs for efficient manufacturability
• CAD & Bill of Materials creation and maintenance with Solid Works, SAP, ECTR
• Work within the requirements of internal product development processes
• Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards (SEMI, ISO, etc.) and internal quality requirements
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments (FMEA)

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant technical degree)
• Three or more years of design engineering of precision machinery, preferably in the semiconductor equipment industry
• Fundamental knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes
• Thorough knowledge of geometric tolerancing (GD&T) and ISO standards
• Proficient in the use of Solid Works 3D CAD system
• Experience with ERP and PLM systems for document, material, BOM and revisions
  -preferably SAP and ECTR
• Knowledge of Semi Spec standards a plus
