The Vermont Intelligence Center is hiring a Criminal Intelligence Analyst to play a vital role in advancing public safety and homeland security efforts across Vermont, focusing on international and domestic terrorism and critical infrastructure resiliency.

This position will:

• Conduct research and gather information from multiple sources.
• Provide case support to criminal investigations.
• Analyze and interpret intelligence related to crime and security concerns.
• Develop written intelligence products that inform decision-makers and partner agencies.
• Present intelligence briefings to law enforcement, elected officials, and other stakeholders.

This dynamic role supports collaboration across agencies to help ensure Vermont communities remain safe and resilient.

• Associate’s degree or higher in criminal justice, data analysis, public administration, or a related field.
• OR
• Three (3) years or more of experience in law enforcement, records case management, public safety systems, or public safety research.

• Associate’s degree or higher in criminal justice, data analysis, public administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• Proficiency with any analytical software.

• Must pass a department-conducted background check.
• Must obtain and maintain a federal secret clearance; employment may be terminated for failure to attain this clearance.
