Job Description

  • Review and process provider request for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with program, state, and federal requirements.
  • Coordinate with providers, agencies, and internal teams to resolve missing information, discrepancies, or account issues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with providers regarding portal access, requirements, and next steps.
  • Monitor work queues and workflow to support timely processing and adherence to internal and external SLAs.
  • Document application activity, decisions, and communications accurately within designated systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to manage workload, prioritize urgent requests, and address volume fluctuations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of enrollment policies, procedures, and program updates, including changes related to CMS, DVHA, or other governing entities.
  • Support special initiatives or enrollment surges as directed.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, data security, and compliance requirements at all times.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, healthcare provider enrollment, or managed care environments.
  • Familiarity with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and compliance‑driven workflows.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Professional demeanor and customer‑focused approach when working with providers and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare administration, provider enrollment, credentialing, or customer support preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and process complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document management systems).
