Clinicians in this role serve our local community by making lasting, positive difference in the lives of children and families facing serious emotional and behavioral challenges. This role helps strengthen school climate, build the capacity of the personnel, and connect students and families to local resources, contributing to a healthier and more supportive community.
Summary of Duties Develop, deliver, monitor, and revise Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and behavior plans for assigned clients and families
Conduct and direct behavioral assessments for referred children and youth
Serve as a member of the school's Educational Support Team (EST), supporting students referred but not directly enrolled in an ISP Implement all tiers of PBIS and model/support school-wide efforts to improve school climate
Train and coach school personnel in PBS behavior plan implementation.
Provide ongoing consultation to case managers, families, and educational/clinical teams
Attend trainings and meetings
Keep timely notes to WCMHS standards
Compensation and BenefitsWCMHS provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. All WCMHS positions have a generous time-off package that includes 12.5 paid and flexible holidays plus 12 paid sick days per year, starting in the first year. School-based positions do have additional paid time off based on a variety of factors and oriented around school calendars.
The starting pay range for this position is $60,880 to $63,350 per year.
Summary of Qualifications Enrollment in (required minimum) or complete Master's degree (strongly preferred) in a relevant discipline
Training in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis OR licensure as a Behavior Analyst, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker required
Experience working with children and youth who present serious emotional and behavioral challenges and/or autism required
Familiarity with and experience implementing PBS strongly preferred
Demonstrated excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines with internal and external partners
Must be able to deliver services and maintain treatment notes in English Workplace Conditions Work occurs in school and community settings. Due to the nature of the behavioral challenges that may be presented, physical restraint of youth or adolescents may be necessary ving required, including access to a safe, inspected, and adequately insured vehicle. Extensive sitting/standing in place and work on a computer.
