Business Analyst

Salary Range: $85,800 – $180,200

CACI is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge IT) Agile Solution Factory Team. This program supports U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) by delivering mission-critical software solutions that enhance national security and border protection operations.

You will work within a collaborative Agile Scrum environment focused on delivering deployable software solutions through iterative development cycles.

• Capture, analyze, and manage functional and non-functional requirements
• Translate high-level mission objectives into user stories, use cases, and technical requirements
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs
• Conduct backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions

• Serve as liaison between stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams
• Communicate business needs through well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
• Provide clarification and guidance to development teams as a proxy Product Owner
• Lead product demonstrations and stakeholder review sessions

• Collaborate with Scrum Masters to establish sprint and release backlogs
• Support Integrated Release Planning and product roadmap development
• Evaluate development deliverables to ensure scope and requirements are met
• Identify automation opportunities for regression testing
• Analyze organizational data relationships and support business process development

• Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes including:
  • Requirements Management
  • Configuration Management
  • Quality Assurance
  • Release Management
• Contribute innovative ideas to solve technical and operational challenges
• Coach development teams on understanding business value and mission objectives

• U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass CBP background investigation, including:
  • 3-year felony background check
  • 1-year illegal drug use check
  • 1-year misconduct background review
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 7 years of Business Analyst experience supporting iterative or Agile software development
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with MS Office and Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
• Ability to work hybrid in Williston, Vermont

• Experience supporting database or reporting development initiatives
• Technical knowledge of SQL or relational database technologies
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
