Delivery Supervisor

Compensation & Pay Range

$14.42 - $20.40 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, premiums, or other amounts based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• Serve as supervisor responsible for managing and maintaining a high level for all city delivery service functions.
• Work with city delivery dispatcher to ensure that all product is properly invoiced to spoke stores.
• Investigate all shipping and inventory discrepancies related to the hub and ensure they are corrected in a timely manner.
• Manage and minimize shrink and payroll costs related to hub operation.
• Maintain oversight of all hub delivery routes, ensuring routes are followed, efficiency is maximized, and costs are minimized.
• Manage all expenses related to the hub side of the business to maximize profitability for both hub and spoke stores.
• Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Maintain a monthly work schedule for all team members under supervision, including city delivery dispatcher and hub delivery specialists, and ensure all members clock in and out according to company policy.
• Ensure the city delivery dispatcher monitors delivery specialist route schedules, communicating any delays to stores remaining on the route.
• Work with store manager to ensure routes are covered in the absence of the city delivery supervisor and/or city delivery specialists.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained, quarterly inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately, and daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles.
• Provide input to the store manager regarding city delivery dispatcher and delivery specialists’ performance for performance evaluations.
• Ensure all relevant company training programs are utilized for hub team member development.
