We are currently looking for an assembly and will perform all operations necessary in the final assembly of any Velan Valve as per instructions.

• Working from production orders, QCIs, drawings, and other written instructions the Assembler B will complete all operations necessary to completely assemble a valve including but not limited to cleaning, deburring, lapping, assembly and installation of gear, motor, or air operator
• Troubleshoot and repair problems that may arise
• May be called on to provide orientation or instructions to other employees
• May be called on to do minor upkeep and maintenance and report machine malfunctions or maintenance problems
• Required to always maintain good housekeeping practices

• High School degree (GED)
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience assembling valves or other similar products
• Must be able to read and understand instructions from production orders, drawings, quality control instructions or other production documents
• Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude, be well practiced with common hand tools, and possess the ability to balance several tasks at once
• May be required to have personal hand tools available as required for the job
• Applicants may be required to pass a written or practical exam
