PEAK Veterinary Referral Center
seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team. As an integral part of our hospital, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional care to our hospitalized and ICU patients.

Anticipated

Schedule:

• Three 13-hour shifts, 6p – 7a

• Compensation starts at $20/hour and can grow up to $34/hour for experienced Level III Technicians.
• Shift differential:
  Any hours worked between 11p - 7a:
  Base + $4/hr
• $3000 sign on bonus

• Provide exceptional care for a variety of patients, including surgical, internal medicine, ICU, Urgent Care, oncology, and cardiac cases
• Collect diagnostic samples, administer medications, calculate dosages, and assist with nursing tasks (e.g., fluid therapy, nutritional support, catheter placement)
• Monitor hospitalized patients, triage critical cases, track vitals, and report changes to the attending doctor
• Communicate compassionately with owners, provide updates, and facilitate smooth patient discharges
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including technician notes and treatment summaries
• Prepare and submit lab tests to in-house labs
• Track inventory of medications, equipment, and supplies used during patient care
