Veterinary Technician, Anesthesia
PEAK Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Anesthesia team. This full-time Veterinary Technician opportunity is ideal for a Vet Tech looking to expand advanced anesthesia, surgery, and specialty medicine skills while working alongside board-certified specialists in a collaborative specialty animal hospital. As a Veterinary Technician on our Anesthesia team, you'll support advanced procedures including surgery, MRI, CT, and complex specialty cases while practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Compensation: $22–$35/hour, based on credentialing, experience, and skill set

Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing anesthesia cases while collaborating with board-certified specialists and VTS technicians
- Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures alongside each surgeon
- Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
- Execute, monitor, and recover assigned sedation and anesthetic events
- Assist with operating room duties as a nurse and scrub-in technician during orthopedic surgeries
- Provide comfort, advocacy, and high-quality nursing care for every patient
Qualifications:
- Experienced Veterinary Technician, Vet Tech, CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred
- Anesthesia, surgery, specialty, emergency, or critical care experience preferred
- Strong patient monitoring, technical, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced specialty veterinary environment
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
