JOB OVERVIEW
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.50 - $17.50 depending on your skills and experience.
- We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.

- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 10‑12 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of four main components:

Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store staff, management, and customers.

Work additional days and extended hours during peak holiday seasons (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). You may be required to work on the actual holidays, including weekends.

Participate in installations and Task operations such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Assignments are typically notified two weeks in advance and can include evenings or weekends.

As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other team members within your territory as needed.
This physically demanding job requires a high level of energy and urgency. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. You will kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your shift, and may need to climb stairs and step‑ladders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You can read, write, and understand English.
- You have the ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- You can operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
- You have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
