Bench Store Manager

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Bench Store Manager ready to step into leadership at any local store as needed. You'll lead daily operations, coach and develop associates, and drive sales and profitability while delivering an exceptional athlete-focused experience. Partner with district leadership on staffing, merchandising, and community events, ensuring brand standards and operational excellence. Ideal candidates bring strong retail management experience, passion for sports, and a performance-driven mindset with flexibility to support multiple stores in the area.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to achieve sales, service, and profitability goals
• Coach, train, and schedule associates to deliver an athlete-focused experience
• Maintain merchandising standards, inventory accuracy, and in-stock levels
• Monitor KPIs, control expenses, and support P&L performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and loss prevention procedures
• Partner with district leadership to support staffing and execution across multiple stores
• Support community events and local marketing initiatives to build brand loyalty
• Drive a performance-driven, inclusive, and team-oriented culture
