Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Encore Fire Protection, we are proud to be the east coast's largest full-service fire protection company, serving over 90,000 customers from Maine to Louisiana. With a team of over 2,200 dedicated employees, we provide innovative, customized fire suppression, fire sprinkler and fire alarm solutions that protect lives and properties every day.

Our goal is to deliver superior experience to those who trust us to safeguard what matters most. We are passionate about continuous growth, innovation, and maintaining a culture that thrives on success and commitment to safety. Our mission? To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen.

The Opportunity

You’re naturally outgoing, detail-oriented, and unapologetically persistent. The people who thrive here can zoom in on the tiny details, then zoom out and keep the bigger picture moving. If you can juggle priorities while building real customer trust, you’ll fit right in at Encore Fire Protection.

Externally, this role is often called an Inside Sales Specialist. Internally, we call it a System Integrity Specialist, because that’s exactly what you’re protecting. You’ll help customers stay safe and code‑compliant by identifying sprinkler system deficiencies and guiding them to the right repair solutions.

Let’s be clear, this is not your typical inside sales job.

Roughly 70% of your time is office‑based: reviewing inspection results, building accurate quotes and proposals, and communicating with customers by phone and email. The other 30% is in the field: meeting customers, surveying life safety systems, building rapport, and making sure recommendations are accurate and compliant.

You’ll be paired with an outside sales executive and become a key point of contact for your accounts. You’ll advocate for the customer, clarify scope, coordinate next steps, and keep projects moving, so systems stay up to code.

Key Responsibilities

Day–to‑day, your work will blend customer conversations, quoting, and site visits that turn inspection results into clear, actionable proposals. In this role, you will:

  • Review inspection reports and deficiency documentation related to sprinkler systems
  • Build and send quotes and proposals for sprinkler repairs and maintenance contracts
  • Communicate clearly with customers by phone and email (scope, scheduling, next steps, renewals)
  • Track renewals, follow ups, and proposal activity, keeping documentation accurate and organized
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Operations, to move work from quote to completion
  • Visit customer sites as needed to survey systems and support accurate quoting
What You Bring To The Table
  • Prior technical experience with sprinkler systems
  • Sales experience beyond retail or hospitality, ideally in a service‑based environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast‑paced setting
  • Ability to work independently while partnering closely with internal teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Comfort using CRM and operations tools like Service Trade and Hub Spot
  • A people‑first mindset; you can be the customer’s advocate while still driving urgency
What Will Make You Stand Out?
  • You have experience translating inspection findings into repair scopes that customers understand.
  • You have experience selling service work, repairs, or maintenance agreements.
  • You have experience coordinating multiple stakeholders to keep repairs moving fast.
  • You have experience in construction, trade, or life safety environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary – Compensation commensurate with your experience, with the opportunity to earn performance‑based bonuses tied to your personal effectiveness and contributions to the team.
  • Purpose‑Driven Work Environment – You’ll be part of a culture that values results and empowers teams to focus on impactful work.
  • Flexible Dress Code – Most days, you can enjoy a casual work environment; we dress up when the situation calls for it.
  • People‑Focused Culture – Our greatest strength is our people. You’ll have the space to share ideas and help shape a growing company.
  • Tools for Success – Access to leading‑edge web‑based productivity tools.
  • Health and Wellness – Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage to keep you and your family healthy.
  • Retirement Planning – Participation in our Fidelity 401(k) plan with a company match.
  • Life Insurance – Company‑paid life insurance policy of $50,000 for your peace of mind.
