Dump Truck Driver

SD Ireland Companies is a well-established and growing construction company serving Vermont and the surrounding region. We are currently seeking a reliable Dump Truck Driver to support our paving, excavation and construction operations.

The Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites while following all safety and DOT regulations.

• Safely operate dump trucks on construction sites and public roadways
• Haul materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and debris
• Support paving operations, some night work required.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and job site crews
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow DOT requirements
• Assist with general labor or jobsite support as needed

• Valid CDL Class B (Required)
• CDL Class A (Preferred / Considered a Bonus)
• Prior dump truck or construction driving experience preferred
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented

• Competitive hourly pay $25 to $30 based on experience
