Deduction Resolution Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the food service industry, is seeking a Deduction Resolution Specialist to join their team. As a Deduction Resolution Specialist, you will be part of the Corporate Office supporting the Deduction Resolution team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Manage the overall process efficiencies of suspense dollars, promotional activity, and audit resolution both individually and within a team.
• Work directly with external customers and sales staff to investigate deductions, determine their validity, and process resolutions through billbacks, including collection of repayments if deductions are invalid.
• Utilize time management skills to code deductions, submit backup documentation, and identify new trends for assigned customers.
• Complete daily and weekly checklists efficiently and proactively seek additional tasks or improvements.
• Process billing claims using the Forge application, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Post high school accounting classes or equivalent experience.
• A pattern of initiative and proactive problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Windows environment, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and organizational abilities.
