Overview
Office & Administrative Specialist Intermediate – a full‑time role supporting the Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Hospital (CABHH) in Willmar. Telework Eligible:
Yes (up to 50% remote). Salary range: $21.12 – $28.01 hourly; $44,098 – $58,484 annually.
- Manage census information system, compiling data to ensure accuracy and availability of patient data, demographics, and statistical reports.
- Respond to all requests for release of information and patient records in a uniform and timely manner, complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate receipt and response to all legal papers received by the facility, including court orders and subpoenas, in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Perform Health Information Management Systems related work as needed to support efficient and effective operations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for clear, courteous, and effective customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Data entry performance skills to input and verify data with high accuracy, maintaining records and correcting errors.
- Database, documents, and records management skills to pull relevant data and compile reports, adhering to policy and statute requirements.
- Mathematical skills to perform basic arithmetic and calculate averages.
- Knowledge of specialized terminology, including medical terminology, document management, scanning, indexing, and quality control.
- Spreadsheet skills sufficient to update, track, log, create, and produce reports.
- Word processing skills to develop and modify correspondence, records, reports, forms, and charts.
- One (1) year of Electronic Health Record experience.
- Experience working effectively with people from varied cultural backgrounds.
References and background checks will be conducted. Direct Care & Treatment requires TB screening via a blood test prior to employment. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
