Position Overview

Engan Associates is seeking an Architectural Drafter / Designer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, collaborative, detail‑oriented, and interested in contributing to meaningful community‑focused projects throughout Minnesota.

This position may be well suited for either an experienced professional or a motivated recent graduate looking to gain experience across a wide variety of project types in a small‑firm environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare construction drawings and project documentation using Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Develop two‑dimensional and three‑dimensional project drawings and renderings
  • Coordinate drawings with architects, consultants, vendors, and project team members
  • Assist with construction administration and project coordination
  • Maintain office drafting and document standards
  • Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail
  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with the design team
  • Support project deadlines and multiple active assignments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree (A.A.S.) or related drafting/design education
  • Revit proficiency
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Familiarity with construction documents and detailing
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
  • Rendering, visualization, or graphic presentation skills are a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
