Life-Science Innovations has a full‑time opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join our team of high‑performing professionals and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The CFO will have day‑to‑day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear effective communication skills.

Responsibilities- Oversees and guides the objectives, initiatives and policies of the accounting/financial function for LSI
- Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses
- Develops and reports on financial performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
- Prepares short and long‑term financial forecasts for use in strategic business planning and coordinates the annual planning with the Senior Leadership Team
- Conducts financial analyses to support the company’s operations and operational decision making
- Manages company cash flow and oversees cash planning ensuring adequate availability of working capital to achieve strategic goals
- Oversees all financial operations including financial planning, budgeting, financial and costing functions, cash management, tax and audit
- Manages all financial administration, ensuring maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures in accordance with state and federal requirements and GAAP
- Provides the status of the organization’s financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting on key financial metrics and regularly reporting to senior management and the board
- Maintains relationships with commercial bankers and credit facilities, ensuring the company has appropriate credit arrangements and negotiating terms
- Oversees monthly, quarterly and annual financial consolidation and reporting to senior management, the board and external stakeholders
- Builds and engages a high‑performing team by selecting, onboarding and training employees
- Strong knowledge in financial forecasting, accounting principles and financial data analysis
- Clear understanding of GAAP
- Familiarity with current finance and accounting related laws and regulations
- Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software including ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written; skilled in the art of negotiation
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen
- Ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
- Ability to make important decisions under pressure, with integrity and solid moral judgment
- Expert problem‑solver, analytical thinker, and decision maker
- Strong, collaborative business partner to the Senior Leadership Team
- Ability to drive cross‑functional collaboration between Finance, HR, IT and Operational Teams
- Extensive experience in the financial sector with a strong financial vision and insight
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance position
- Previous experience in animal health, biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or related field
- Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred

Pay Range: $169,000 – $253,000 per year
