- Provide short‑term, safe, quality, and supportive residential services to clients in the Minnesota Specialty Health System (MSHS) Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) facility.
- Administer medication under the supervision of the program’s nurse consultant.
- Actively participate in, and assist clients with, developing strategies and treatment recommendations for improving functional skills, self‑management of illness, behavior, and emotion.
- Meet the qualifications for section 245I.04, subdivision 14, Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Be licensed as a Practical Nurse in Minnesota or be eligible for licensure.
- Future Practical Nurses within six (6) months of graduating and taking the NCLEX‑LPN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of the degree and passing of the NCLEX‑LPN.
- Patient care experience within a mental health or behavioral health setting.
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
