Position Type:
Full-Time

Wage Range: $40 - $50 / hour depending on experience.

Bonus: $2,500

Speech Therapist Responsibilities:

* Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders:
Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.

* Develop & Implement Treatment Plans:
Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.

* Provide Speech & Language Therapy:
Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.

* Educate & Support Patients & Families:
Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.

* Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment:
Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.

* Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams:
Work with doctors, teachers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

Speech Therapist

Qualifications:

* Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree.

* Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.

* Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.

* Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.

* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.

* Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.

* Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

* Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
