Director of Rehabilitation
Location: Willmar, MN
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $40-$48/hour
We are seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead therapy services at a skilled nursing facility in Willmar, Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rehabilitation professional looking to lead a collaborative therapy team while continuing to provide direct patient care.
Qualified disciplines include:
- Physical Therapist (PT)
- Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
- Eligible for a sign-on bonus, student loan assistance, or a combination of both
- Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Treating leadership role with 70-75% productivity expectations

Key Responsibilities- Lead the daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
- Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate therapy staff.
- Manage departmental staffing, scheduling, and productivity.
- Develop and oversee department budgets and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and quality measures.
- Oversee therapy documentation and department audits.
- Identify opportunities to grow and enhance therapy services.
- Provide direct patient evaluations and treatment within your licensed discipline.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and clinical best practices.
- Assist with insurance authorizations and reimbursement processes.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and department inventory.
- Lead staff meetings, educational programs, and ongoing training initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with patients, families, healthcare providers, and facility leadership.
One of the following is required:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Occupational Therapy
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
Current state licensure in the applicable discipline is required.
Experience- Five or more years of clinical therapy experience preferred.
- Previous rehabilitation leadership or management experience preferred.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary therapy teams is highly desirable.
