Patient Safety Sitter

The Patient Safety Sitter assists in keeping a patient safe when a patient is at risk of harming themselves by pulling lines, falling, wandering, and other behaviors. Is responsible for continuous monitoring of the patient closely at the bedside at all times and never leaves the patient alone. May intervene by assisting the patient to toilet, ambulate, reposition, or prevent the patient from pulling on lines.

Schedule:

Casual | As Needed | Flexible schedule | 8 hour shifts available weekdays, weekends, and holidays | No set schedule. Must work at least two shifts per month. Additional shifts often available.

Pay:
Starting pay begins  per hour and increases with experience. Pay range: 17.75 to 28.71 per hour.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED preferred. Human services industry experience preferred. Ability to respond quickly to changing patient needs. Effective communication skills.
