Behavioral Group Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in a behavioral group home setting, supporting daily living skills and personal hygiene.
• Implement person-centered care plans, behavior support strategies, and routines that promote safety, independence, and community integration.
• Monitor and document behaviors, incidents, and progress; promptly communicate concerns to supervisors and clinical team.
• Support medication routines per policy, assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation to appointments and activities.
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors and maintain a calm, respectful environment.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, and team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care aligned with Sevita's values.
