Life-Science Innovations has a full-time opportunity for a Sr. End User Computing Engineer / Telecommunication Engineer to join their team. This position leads the strategy, management, security, and modernization of the organization’s endpoint environment, including workstations, mobile devices, endpoint tools, and user technology services. This role focuses on advancing endpoint management through technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Endpoint Central, patching, encryption, compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security.

Working closely with IT teams, vendors, and business partners, this position develops secure, scalable, and supportable solutions that improve device governance, lifecycle management, and the overall end-user technology experience, while also supporting select telecom and Teams Phone responsibilities. This role requires more than deep endpoint engineering expertise. The successful candidate will also serve as a trusted technology partner to employees and leaders across multiple businesses and operating environments.

This person must be comfortable translating between nontechnical users, technical teams, IT leadership, vendors, and executive leadership, and independently owning problems from initial business need through technical solution, implementation, communication, and support.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the senior technical owner for endpoint management platforms, standards, and processes across workstations and mobile devices.
  • Design, implement, and optimize endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Endpoint Central, Entra , Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
  • Establish and maintain device provisioning standards, configuration baselines, compliance policies, and workstation lifecycle processes.
  • Lead Windows upgrades, device replacements, application deployment, patching, enrollment, and advanced endpoint troubleshooting.
  • Strengthen endpoint security through Bit Locker, device hardening, vulnerability remediation, compliance, and CIS‑aligned configurations.
  • Own technology problems end‑to‑end, from an initially unclear business need through technical evaluation, implementation, communication, and support, coordinating across endpoint, systems, network, security, service desk, and vendors as needed.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions by balancing security, usability, supportability, cost, business impact, and risk, and communicate those tradeoffs clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, processes, and support procedures to create a consistent, scalable environment.
  • Serve as a trusted technology partner across our affiliated businesses and operating locations, translating needs between frontline employees, business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and executive leadership into practical, secure, and supportable solutions.
  • Support select telecom and Teams Phone services, including cellular devices, phones, conference room technology, carriers, and vendors.
  • Participate in IT projects, change management, ITSM processes, and cross‑functional initiatives impacting end‑user technology.
The ideal candidate will have the following educational and experience background:
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience with significant experience in endpoint administration, desktop engineering, systems administration, or related roles.
  • Experience managing Windows endpoints and endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, SCCM/Endpoint Configuration Manager, Endpoint Central, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of…
