Bilingual Paraprofessional ALC

Position: Bilingual Paraprofessional at the ALC
Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Bilingual Paraprofessional - English and Spanish Speaking.

The Bilingual Paraprofessional provides academic support for limited English-speaking students, assists second language students in reading and language development, and communicates with students, teachers, school personnel, and families in two different languages (English and Spanish).

Bilingual Speaking and Writing required.

General knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques used in the teaching of other languages.

Basic proficiency in routine aspects of a Bilingual Paraprofessional.

Planning activities that relate to similar situations and involves choices among familiar alternatives.

Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Experience of up to one year in a job-related field (i.e.; working with children and families; working with diverse communities and families; etc.).
