Northern Radiator is searching for a full-time Purchasing Agent to join our team at our location in Willmar, Minnesota.

Northern Radiator provides high-quality heating and cooling products for automotive, agricultural, truck, industrial and racing product industries. Northern Radiator has been in business for over 55 years. Our headquarters, manufacturing facility, and primary distribution facility is located in Willmar, Minnesota with multiple regional distribution centers located throughout the U.S.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to help manage inventory, maintain vendor relationships, and support smooth production through accurate work order creation.

• Negotiate vendor pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and forecast procurement needs.
• Maintain and adjust inventory levels, track product performance, and reduce costs.
• Evaluate suppliers and resolve issues with defective or incorrect goods.
• Coordinate import shipments, freight options, customs documents, and warehouse transfers.
• Create and manage work orders, ensuring accurate BOMs and timely completion.
• Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and warehouse teams to support production flow.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.

• Strong negotiation and vendor relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, purchasing processes, and inventory control.
• Problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
