Maintenance Supervisor

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading company in Willmar, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is $60, per year.

The Maintenance Supervisor will manage a team of Maintenance Technicians and ensure they are properly trained and equipped. They will lead the team with active involvement, using critical thinking to identify problems in mechanical systems, and develop alternative solutions. They will direct and instruct workers in basic repair and maintenance.

• Manage a team of Maintenance Technicians, assign tasks, ensure proper training and equipment
• Train new Maintenance Technicians and ensure adherence to established protocols
• Oversee routine maintenance of the Hatchery, including controlling systems/robotic equipment and support the maintenance function in the Hatchery
• Assist with general building maintenance and repair of the facility including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security and fire alarms
• Respond to major project maintenance work orders and daily assignments for common areas, buildings and other facility maintenance
• Complete special projects with short deadlines as assigned
• Aid contractors on construction/installation of incubator and hatcher equipment and other hatchery equipment
• Conduct frequent checks around the hatchery, monitoring hatchers and incubators, and temperatures/pressures in hallways

• 2+ years in a leadership role
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing/production maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance principles
