Electronics Service Technician

PALS is seeking a full-time Electronics Service Technician to join their team. An Affiliate of Life-Science Innovations,PALS(Poultry and Livestock Supplies) is a retailer and service provider of equipment, feed, and medication distributed within the poultry and hog industry, located on the West side of Willmar, MN

• Working in the Electronics Department and at customer locations, identify and resolve controller malfunctions. Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using common electronics testing tools, hand tools, and soldering iron.
• Accurate and timely installation and repair of electronic equipment at customers’ locations as well as in house.

• Provide customer support and education, working with users to identify needs, determine sources of problems, and provide information on product use.

• Using D365, generate sales orders for customers, paperwork to return repaired items to customers, and to place items into inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by completing housekeeping tasks and working on equipment safely.
• Answer questions or refer concerns by communicating proactively and demonstrating commitment to high-quality service.
• Work with the rest of the team to fix and test medicators.

• Related field required, beneficial but not required
• High school diploma/GED required
• Have and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver’s License and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record
• Willingness to learn and understand electronic equipment and procedures or ability and the variety of controllers.
• Willing to troubleshoot and repair of electronic equipment and in the use of common electronic testing equipment required
• Ability to learn computerized billing and inventory system
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact with a variety of internal employees and external customers

Starting Wage Range: $23.58-$28.00
