Oversee the coordination and development of Partners for Prevention
- Kandiyohi & Meeker County Initiative, a SAMHSA-funded substance use prevention project in Kandiyohi and Meeker counties. Work with collaborative partners to build capacity utilizing the Strategic Prevention Framework for planning and assist with implementation of appropriate evidence based and promising practice models to reduce the impact of substance use.

• Oversee the coordination and development of PFP-KM in cooperation with key county public health partners in Kandiyohi and Meeker counties.
• Assist county partners in developing a leadership team and utilizing the SPF process.
• Facilitate completion of any data collection tools in support of the SPF planning process.
• Primary contact to the SAMHSA grant manager; coordinate related consultant visits, activities and meeting agendas.
• Work in cooperation with other PACT Collaborative programming.
• Attend, organize and/or facilitate community meetings related to the project.
• Prepare required narrative reports and other reporting requirements.
• Work with related committees established in support of the project’s goals and objectives.
• Assist with grant development and re-application for funding for Strategic Prevention Framework-Partners for Success.

• Minimum of five years’ experience in the field of education, social services, and/or public safety.
• Background in Chemical Health Prevention preferred.
• Significant experience working in partnership with other agencies.
• Experience in working with diverse populations.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience providing service coordination and development of projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member and/or team leader.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related field or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the human services delivery system, educational systems, mental health services and collaborative service delivery.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and team leader.
• Organizational skills and leadership ability.
• Ability to research, prepare and present complex reports.
• Ability to facilitate diverse groups and build consensus in collaborative settings.

There is significant travel within the two counties, the PACT service area, occasional travel in the State and nationwide. Valid driver's license, car insurance and vehicle required. Work hours may require late afternoon and evening meeting times and appointments.

This is a full-time, salaried, benefit position. Level of effort is 100% and salary will range from $51,929 depending on experience, education and training.
