Counter Sales​/Parts Associate

Counter Sales/Parts Associate at QC Supply in Willmar, MN is a dynamic role that blends customer service, sales support, and inventory management in a fast‑paced environment. The incumbent will greet and assist showroom visitors and phone callers, recommend products and promotions, process transactions, pick, pack, and ship orders, and maintain a clean, organized parts counter and warehouse area.

Providing outstanding service in both the showroom and warehouse, ensuring accurate order handling and shipment, and acting as the liaison between the retail and distribution teams.

• Work with retail customers in‑store and over the phone to understand needs and recommend the best parts and equipment.
• Educate new customers on new products, promotions, and QC Supply offerings.
• Handle payment transactions, operate office equipment, and utilize computer systems effectively.
• Assist with inventory management—shelving, cycle counts, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Ensure all materials entering or leaving the warehouse are properly accounted for.
• Maintain a neat and clean parts counter and showroom.
• Perform additional daily tasks as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to function in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the agriculture industry and related parts and equipment is ideal.
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly.
• Excellent oral communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

Regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

This position involves office work and some warehouse operations.
