Job Overview

Cub Willmar is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time grocery stock position. Grocery stockers at Cub follow stocking procedures, including load cutting and sorting, display building, and ensuring product availability. Product rotation is essential for maintaining freshness and minimizing waste. The role requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills, contributing to an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.

• Complete assignments within allotted time.
• Handle product carefully to avoid damage.
• Use proper case‑cutting technique.
• Ensure correct placement of stock.
• Rotate and face product.
• Perform clean‑up of sales floor and back room.
• Assist with customer questions or requests.

• Operate mandatory equipment such as scanner, register, check‑approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.
• Be able to stand for long periods.
• Possess memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service.
• Use sound judgment when direct supervision is not immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; identify information and request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be 16 years of age or older.

• Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, turning, and performing repetitive motions.
