Local Truck Driver

Drivers in this program work with an experienced J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks before transitioning to a full-time driving position upon successful completion.

• Drivers will be paid $30 per hour during the training period. The training period is typically six weeks.
• Following training, drivers will transition to an hourly pay plan that encourages safety, efficiency and strong work ethic.
• This position is paid on an hourly rate.
• $30 per hour until 40 hours worked.
• Overtime hourly work: $45 per hour.
• Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $87,000.

In addition to the number of activities performed, factors which may affect annualized earnings include training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type and number of days worked each week.
