Classic BMW, a proud member of the Classic Auto Group, is seeking one experienced Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a well-established dealership environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year recent experience in an automotive parts department (dealership experience preferred).
• BMW and/or MINI parts experience strongly preferred.
• Open to candidates with parts store backgrounds who are ready to advance to a dealership setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell parts at retail and wholesale levels over the counter, through the service shop, phone, and online.
• Assist customers in selecting required parts and suggest companion items and promotions.
• Pull and prepare parts for purchase and service orders.
• Check in parts inventory when delivered from Manufacture on a daily basis.
• Answer customer and sales rep calls with accurate quotes and information.
• Prepare orders for daily delivery, pickup, or shipment.
• Manage back-orders and returns on a weekly basis.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs .
• Frequent walking, reaching, climbing, and standing (68 hours/day).
• Exposure to typical shop elements such as dust, noise, and fumes when delivering parts.
