Receptionist-PRN Job Summary

Our receptionists warmly greet guests and visitors and assist them. They answer phones, direct calls to the appropriate department, and perform various clerical duties for leadership.

Working Environment

Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is located in Willoughby, Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and visitors warmly.
  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate departments.
  • Perform various clerical duties for leadership.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold the center's standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Preferred—one year as a medical receptionist.

    Required:

    basic keyboarding skills, experience with office equipment (fax, copier), basic PC knowledge, effective communication skills, ability to remain calm under stress, ability to manage a high volume of calls.
  • Skills: Detail oriented, verbal and written communication, diplomacy, discretion, prioritize multiple responsibilities, professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Work environment: Typical business office area with low background noise and office machine noise.
