Receptionist
As the first point of contact for our clients and team members, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a professional, welcoming, and organized environment at Somich & Associates CPAs. This position goes beyond answering phones — it’s about ensuring seamless daily operations and supporting our leadership and staff with administrative excellence. From greeting guests and managing client communications to coordinating schedules, handling documents, and keeping our office running smoothly, our receptionist is essential to delivering the exceptional service and experience our clients expect.

- Understands, can articulate, and communicate the Firm's vision and strategies.

- Has a sense of ownership over assigned clients and client projects and has a sense of urgency for responding to clients and completing assigned projects timely and accurately.

- Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately.
- Greet clients, staff members and other guests to the office.
- Use CRM (Hub Spot) to note receipt of documents received from clients and any requests they may need us to note.
- Scan and copy documents for the Firm as needed into One Drive and/or other folders.
- Maintain the postage machine and coordinate mailing of documents.
- Order food, supplies, and other miscellaneous items the Firm needs.
- Serve as backup to help maintain and review Managing Partner’s emails, calendar appointments and events.
- Screen Managing Partners incoming calls prior to transferring.
- Provide coffee or drinks to Clients and Partners.
- Arrange flights and hotel stays for Firm staff members.
- Keep office tidy and clean.
- Run errands for Firm.
- Event planning, to include coordinating with vendors, catering, room set-up, etc.
- Maintain conference rooms clean in between clients.
