About the Position
As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They work on undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks, complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Qualifications- Minimum 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or a comparable educational background.
- Extensive personal toolbox for performing undercar repairs.
- Preferred additional qualifications include state inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and repeatedly handle tasks typical of vehicle maintenance; regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
