Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to lead and oversee parking lot sitework projects
, including excavation, grading, drainage, utilities, asphalt paving, striping, and concrete work. This dual-role position combines the technical expertise of accurate cost estimating with the leadership skills required to manage projects from bid to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities- Estimating:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for parking lot construction and rehabilitation projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope of work.
- Solicit, analyze, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Develop proposals, budgets, and value-engineering alternatives to optimize cost efficiency.
- Project Management:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee parking lot sitework including excavation, grading, drainage, asphalt paving, striping, and concrete curbing.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines; proactively address issues and delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in sitework estimating and project management
, with emphasis on parking lot construction. - Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, concrete work, drainage systems, and site utilities.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar) and project management tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- OSHA certification or strong safety background is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail in cost estimating.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
- Financial acumen for cost control and budget management.
