Job Description & How to Apply Below

Pine Ridge Dental Team is growing, and we’re looking for a cross-trained pro who can do two things really well:

  • support great dentistry chairside, and

  • make patients feel taken care of from “hi!” to “you’re all set.”

  • If you’re a Dental Assistant who’s also interested in the front-office/business side (or already great at it), this role is for you. You’ll be the calm, capable connector between our patients and our practice. The person who can reassure a nervous patient and keep the schedule from turning into a puzzle missing three pieces.

Prior dental experience is required. This is a fast-paced, people-facing role where details matter and kindness matters more.

    What You’ll Do

    Patient Relations + Front Office

    • Answer patient calls with professionalism and empathy (yes, even the “quick question” that is never quick)

    • Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and help keep the day running smoothly

    • Check patients in and out with a welcoming, confident presence

    • Document patient financial and insurance responsibility with 100% accuracy

    • Collect payments for procedures performed and assist with past-due balances respectfully

    • Proactively call patients who are due for service or need to book

    • Use scheduling tools to fill cancellations and past-due appointments

    • Support morning huddles and help the team stay aligned

    Clinical Assisting

    • Prepare patients for oral exams and assist clinicians with treatment and documentation

    • Provide excellent chairside support and patient education

    • Take digital radiographs/X-rays

    • Assist hygienists and doctors with charting

    • Take detailed notes and accurately record key information

    • Adapt to a fast-paced environment while keeping quality high

    • Learn dental software (or bring experience with it)

    • Maintain a high standard of sanitization and comfort working in a sterile setting

Dental Lab + Back Office Support

    • Sanitize operatories in accordance with CDC guidelines

    • Instrument sterilization

    • Stocking supplies and keeping rooms ready

    • Check in lab cases and communicate with dental labs

    • Assist with ordering supplies/inventory

    What You Bring
    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience

    • Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and equipment

    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

    • Excellent organization and attention to detail

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize confidently

    • A team-first mindset and patient-centered approach

    Benefits
    • Dental benefits (including immediate family)

    • Health insurance + 401(k)

    • On-the-job training

    • Paid time off

    • No weekends
