About the role

There will be full-time temporary teaching opportunity at Willoughby Public School on Stage 3 (Year
6) for all of Term 3 and two weeks of Term 4 (paternity leave position). This position could be extended until the end of 2026.

We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about providing quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, will to work on a collaborative team.

Selection criteria

Applicants are required to address the following specific criteria:

* Approval to teach infants and primary (K-6) with demonstrated experience in developing and delivering high quality differentiated teaching and learning programs in literacy and numeracy

* Demonstrated ability to embed assessment into the teaching and learning cycle, analyse student data to deliver high quality lessons, provide effective feedback to students, and use this data to be responsive to the students' learning needs.

* Evidence of, and commitment to, whole school wellbeing programs with a strong emphasis on implementing effective classroom practice and behaviour management strategies that contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven capacity to work collaboratively and enthusiastically with staff, students, families and the wider community.
