• Find, design, and lead implementation plans for cost, productivity, profitability, and/or quality improvement using engineering, production, and outside resources.
• Develop functional reports, predictive models and tools based on information gathered from research and analysis.
• Effectively report improvement options to stakeholders and interested parties.
• Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collecting and interpreting data from the other technical and operating staff involved.
• Look for best practices.
• Assist as needed in the installation and startup of new, rebuilt, or relocated equipment.
• Develop plant layouts and material flows using sound IE practices balanced with the ROI for a given project while weighing future expansion opportunities.
• Must be proficient and quickly learn company software (Auto Cad, Solid Edge, Microsoft Products, modeling software and internally developed products, etc.).
• Create and write process and procedures for quality adherence and sustainability.
• Develop work instructions and train the trainer materials.
• Utilize lean principles and practices in problem solving and process improvement.
• Assist as needed with Sales and Estimating, in new or existing job strategies to develop the most efficient production models over an entire job life cycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering strongly preferred.
• Other bachelor's degrees in relevant disciplines may be considered.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC.

Valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with Paulo's Vehicle Use Policy.
