Aerospace Process Engineer

Consolidated Precision Products is seeking an Aerospace Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for complex aerospace castings and precision machined components. In this role, you will analyze production performance, lead root cause investigations, and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and throughput. You will partner closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams across sites to launch new products, standardize best practices, and support customer and OEM requirements in a highly technical, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace castings and precision machined components.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze production data to improve safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and quality issues.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to launch and industrialize new products.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma tools to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support qualification activities, PPAP, and customer/OEM requirements.
• Provide technical support to the shop floor and train operators on new or revised processes.
• Ensure processes comply with aerospace and regulatory standards.
• Participate in cross-plant projects to standardize best practices and share learnings.
