Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant provides clerical and general support to the Human Resources Department. The role provides responsive customer service to employees of Windsor Laurelwood concerning human resource functions and fulfills administrative and transactional tasks within HR.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
Education/Experience
:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in Business or Human Resources. Thorough knowledge of office procedures and practices, including but not limited to multiple-line telephone operation, copier/fax, use of a personal computer and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio). Knowledge of internet and intranet technology. Ability to write and type clearly and concisely and use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Licensure/Certification: None
Knowledge:Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; decision-making a nd problem-solving skills; adept in use of routine office equipment; efficiency in computer programs; ability to handle information as strictly confidential.
Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Manual dexterity for typing and to access filing systems. Push, pull and lift up to 10 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.
