Information System Support Technician
The Information Systems Support Technician is responsible for providing first‑level to intermediate technical support across multiple departments, ensuring reliable operation of network infrastructure, computer systems, telephony, and security systems. This role supports both local and corporate IT initiatives, maintains system performance, and delivers responsive solutions to technical issues while aligning with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver responsive help desk support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, phone, camera, and printer issues across multiple locations.
- Manage and resolve support tickets, prioritizing based on business impact.
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, operating systems, and software, including imaging and upgrades.
- Administer user accounts in Active Directory (password resets, access, group membership).
- Support network infrastructure, including IP assignments, system standards, and issue resolution.
- Provide first‑level support for Avaya phone systems, voicemail, IP cameras, and CCTV systems.
- Maintain hardware/software inventory and documentation; perform routine maintenance and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot printers/copiers, manage supplies, and coordinate vendor service.
- Support AS400/MS4 systems, including user management and print queue maintenance.
- Recommend and implement cost‑effective technology solutions; assist with purchasing and upgrades.
- Serve as liaison to Corporate IT and support network/telecom projects.
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to continuous system improvement.
- Provide off‑hours support as needed.

- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related field required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Experience: One or more years’ experience in a Microsoft Windows environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated experience using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web browsers (Chrome, Explorer, etc.). Knowledge of and ability to operate all hardware and software in use within the enterprise.
