Position Summary

The CNC Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and supporting high‑precision CNC machining equipment and related manufacturing systems. This individual will work closely with manufacturing leadership, engineering, programming, and operations teams to maximize machine uptime, improve equipment reliability, and support production objectives.

This role supports critical aerospace and defense programs and requires a strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background within a precision machining environment.

Requirements
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machining equipment and manufacturing systems
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced CNC equipment including Kitamura, Nakamura, and Fanuc‑controlled Robodrill systems
  • Support machine uptime and production efficiency initiatives
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams
  • Collaborate with Plant Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Programmers, and Operators to resolve technical issues
  • Assist in developing and improving preventive maintenance procedures and documentation
  • Support facility infrastructure and manufacturing support systems as required
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and operational excellence
Qualifications & Experience
  • CNC industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience maintaining CNC machining centers and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Physical ability to safely perform maintenance activities in an industrial environment
Preferred Experience
  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
  • Fanuc control troubleshooting experience
  • Preventive maintenance system experience
  • Multi‑axis CNC machining environment experience
