30+ days ago Requisition

Salary Range: $30.00 To $50.00 Hourly

Job Overview:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Bowden, you will develop, improve, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and systems that enhance productivity and reduce costs. You will program and optimize CNC machines and other automated equipment to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality in production. This role works closely with quality and operations teams to drive alignment and continuous improvement across departments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts alongside a supportive, collaborative team.
  • Develop clear process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs so our machinists and operators know exactly what success looks like.
  • Analyze production data and dig into root causes to tackle challenges head-on and make things better every day.
  • Lead process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other proven methods — your ideas matter here.
  • Partner with design and R&D teams to make sure new products are built with manufacturing in mind.
  • Select and validate the best tools, equipment, and fixtures to keep production smooth and cost-effective.
  • Help launch new products and equipment seamlessly into our operations.
  • Keep our processes safe and sustainable by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Train production staff on new processes and tools — we grow together.
  • Track and share key metrics like yield, downtime, and cycle time so we can celebrate wins and spot opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
  • A positive attitude and team spirit — culture fit is huge for us.
  • A love for learning new skills and stepping up when needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build great working relationships.
  • A knack for solving problems and digging into data to find solutions.
  • Ability to work independently but thrive in a team-focused, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Mastercamis a must.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation is a plus.

We’re committed to building a team of hands-on problem solvers who are eager to grow, contribute, and make a difference. If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect and share more about the opportunity.
