Position: Parts Sales /  Engine & Automotive

All Lift Service Company is a premier, full-service material handling dealership covering Northeast Ohio with sales, service, parts, and rentals for industrial equipment. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Parts Associate to join our service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with parts experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment while supporting customers, inventory operations, and production teams.

You will play a critical role in our daily operations by assisting customers with parts needs, managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring parts are available to support engine rebuild and service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
    Assist customers with parts inquiries, counter sales, phone calls, and order processing while providing excellent customer support.
  • Shipping & Receiving:
    Receive, inspect, process, and organize incoming and outgoing parts shipments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inventory Control:
    Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock organization, and inventory tracking procedures.
  • Parts Operations:
    Support daily parts department activities, including order entry, parts sourcing, vendor communication, and internal production support.
  • Administrative Support:
    Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications to manage communications, documentation, and department records.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with production, service, and management teams to ensure parts availability and efficient workflow throughout the operation.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Previous parts department experience is required. Experience in engine, diesel, automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment environments is preferred.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers.
  • Problem Solving:
    Ability to apply logic, critical thinking, and sound judgment to resolve issues and support daily operations.
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and managing high-volume email communications through Microsoft Outlook.
  • Mathematical Ability:
    Ability to perform mathematical calculations including decimals, percentages, and inventory-related computations.
  • Mechanical Aptitude:
    General mechanical knowledge and understanding of engine components, parts, and business operations.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and frequently handle loads up to 20 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
