Step onto the pressroom floor where precision, pace, and craftsmanship meet. From mounting plates to dialing in ink density, you will bring high-visibility prime labels to life on a servo-driven narrow-web Flexographic Digital Hybrid Press. Your expertise ensures every run is on-color, on-spec, and right on time.
Shift options
We have multiple shifts available:2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM3rd shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AMYour impact (day in the life)
You arrive, review job tickets, and prepare the press. Substrate is loaded, plates are mounted, anilox and tooling are checked, and print impression is precisely set. You balance ink distribution, match color targets, and fine-tune web tension and dryer temperature. As the job runs, you watch registration like a hawk, troubleshoot any print variation, and keep waste to a minimum. Between runs, you handle cleaning, oiling, and minor repairs so the press is always production-ready.
Throughout, you collaborate with a tight-knit team to deliver labels that make brands stand out.
Core responsibilities
Run a Flexo/Digital Hybrid narrow-web press to exact specifications and quality standards.
Set up for printing and die-cutting, including substrate loading, tooling installation, and plate mounting.
Verify substrate, ink, and tooling meet required specs before and during production.
Adjust ink laydown, speed, and drying temperatures for optimal results.
Troubleshoot print issues rapidly to reduce downtime and material waste.
Perform routine maintenance: oiling, cleaning, and minor mechanical adjustments.
What you bring
Proven experience operating a servo-driven narrow web press such as Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or similar.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A problem-solving mindset focused on efficiency and high quality.
Physical ability to lift, stand, and perform the demands of press operation.
Team-first attitude with clear, proactive communication.
