Shipping Associate (Forklift) – 1st & 3rd Shift Openings

Shift: $20.16/hour3rd
Shift: $21.26/hour Position Summary Champion Personnel is hiring Shipping Associates for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Willoughby, OH. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the potential for permanent employment based on attendance, performance, and business needs. Responsibilities Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
Prepare UPS, Fed Ex, and customer shipments
Complete shipping and receiving documentation
Stage materials for production and customer orders
Load customer vehicles and assist with pickups
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols
Assist with general shipping department duties as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 12 months of warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing experience
Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
Ability to read work instructions and complete paperwork accurately
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
High School Diploma or GED Schedule
Training (First Two Weeks)1st
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM3rd
Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-6:30 AMRegular Schedule (After Training)1st
Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM3rd
Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AMRotating 2-Week Schedule Week 1:
Work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday-Friday, work Saturday & Sunday Week 2:
Off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday-Friday, off Saturday & Sunday Breaks Two paid 10-minute breaks
