CNC Programmer​/Manufacturing Specialist

Gear Tec, a leader in producing custom gears and transmission components for industrial applications, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating detailed programming for CNC machines using advanced software to fabricate high-quality gears and mechanical parts. Responsibilities

• Develop and write programs for CNC machines that align with engineering specifications and client requirements.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications.
• Modify existing CNC programs for efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate and resolve any blueprint discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and tools, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
